Two problems related to warning light on have been reported for the 1997 Mazda Protege. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The air bag warning light flashes, letting driver know that something is wrong with the air bag system. The driver's side air bag has been replaced twice.
Warning light for driver side air bag has illuminated twice and the unit has been replaced twice.
