Two problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1999 Mazda Protege. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes faded resulting in accident, after accident consumer took vehicle to dealer but they were unable to find the problem.
Consumer states while driving at any speed applies brakes , and without warning the brakes fade.
