One problem related to front driver side air bag inflator has been reported for the 2006 Mazda RX8. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The passenger airbag cover is cracked really bad. I've got a notice saying there was a recall for airbags. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the inflators only leaving the old airbag in there.
