Parking Brake Actuator problems of the 2010 Mazda Tribute

The contact owns a 2010 Mazda Tribute. The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle would not accelerate. The contact pulled over, shut off and restarted the vehicle however the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection where they stated that throttle body had to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and stated that the would pay a portion of the repair expenses. The failure mileage was 37,000. . .
