One problem related to brakes failed has been reported for the 2003 Mercedes Benz 320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
- the brake system failed. The contact felt it should be fixed during a recall in 2004. The vehicle was operating without incident. On 12/29/06 the car would not stop at a red traffic light when the brakes were applied. The contact narrowly avoided a crash. The vehicle is presently at the dealer. Updated 2/6/2007 - the vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnostic test were performed. The dealer determined that the sbc control unit needed to be reflashed.
