Power Window Problems of Mercedes Benz 320

The contact owns a 2001 Mercedes Benz e320. The contact stated the rear driver side window collapsed into the door panel. The contact was unable to retrieve the glass from the door panel. The dealer advised that the rear window regulator would need to be replaced. The dealer replaced the window at the contacts expense. The manufacturer was not contacted. : the contact stated the rear windows failed to operate without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, where it was determined the window regulator fractured. The window regulators were replaced. The blower motor was replaced. Updated 01/16/07. The consumer discovered the reason why the windows fail as they do, is because they aren't used frequently. The clock was losing time, the stop light switch was defective and ultimately replaced. The horn was replaced, transmission fluid was leaking. The air mass senor was replaced, the coolant light illuminated, the consumer had trouble shifting the gear into reverse, the a/c was blowing hot air, the throttle valve was replaced, the consumer stated the engine had a loud valve train noise. Driver's side power window was inoperative. The dealer was notified, and stated that the four window clusters for all the windows had to be replaced to get the driver's side window to operate. The consumer would like to know why all four window clusters had to be replaced. Also, the power steering fluid leaked from the hoses/clamps, and connectors. The leaks appeared more frequently during the winter season which caused the metal to expand. The dealer/manufacturer were not notified at this time.

Vehicle had encountered numerous mechanical and control issues from the outset. Electrical system, fuel pump, accelerator pedal, power steering, windows, and air bag lights.

Trnsmission failure. Also, repeated failure of windows and electric seats rear entry and brake lights, indicate serious problem with this car. Warranty covers the repairs, but the problems persist. I have never heard of a car having so many problems. What do you know about the 1998 320 clk? what can I do about this?.
