One problem related to steering column has been reported for the 1998 Mercedes Benz C230. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While turning on the turn signal lights turn signal lights were inoperable. Also, while driving steering column had wires exposed. Consumer drove the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic replaced the steering column switch. Consumer informed the mechanic that this problem occurred more than once.
