Exterior Lighting problem #1

I was driving about 60 mph suddenly my car was jerking and shaking the speed started to decrease and the car suddenly turned off I was able to pull over to the side of the road and I had to turn the key to start it the engine light turned on and I was able to drive off like regular. The next day I was on the freeway exiting I was going like 40 mph when I decreased my speed to stop and make a turn my rpm was at high 4-5 and my speed was 20mph I had to step on the pedal all the way just to get to 20 mph.

Headlights problem #2

Low beam driver side headlight is out and goes out when replacing bulb. I always take my car to the mercedes dealership, where I purchased new in 2007, for maintenance. Service rep says the wiring in headlamp is corrosive and needs replacing. My husband looked at the wires and they seem to have melted. The lights have to be replaced at $350 each (x2) and the labor as well to remove the bumper and put in the new lights. This seems to be an issue w/ these cars and needs to be corrected or recalled. I've never heard of another vehicle doing this, nor costing nearly $1000 to replace two headlights, which is crucial for safety. I have looked to see if there are any recalls but have not seen any. Please advise if there are.

Tail Light problem #3

The contact owns a 2007 mercedes-benz C230. The contact stated while driving in a storm, the windshield cracked. The taillight and indicator lights were inoperable. There was an abnormal tapping sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who confirmed there was no failure with the sunroof. The vehicle was repaired. After retrieving the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start while the temperature was 20 degrees. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer by aaa. The tow truck driver jump-started the vehicle and closed the sunroof. The dealer informed the contact that the sunroof was leaking, the battery needed to be replaced, and the solenoid was inoperable. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the remote was inoperable. The passenger’s side mirror light was inoperable. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 99,000.
