All 4 cam shaft sensors failed at the same time.
The contact owns a 2007 Mercedes Benz C230. The contact stated that the engine light illuminated intermittently. The contact mentioned that the vehicle exhibited failures related to loss of acceleration, electrical failures with the turning signals, air bag light illumination and exhaust system. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the crank shaft sensor and the camshaft sensor were defective. Also, the actuator timing chain, balance shaft and the valve cover needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 13,000.
