Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problems of the 2007 Mercedes Benz C230

The contact owns a 2007 Mercedes Benz C230. While driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle failed to shift into any other gear after the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The contact pulled over and powered the vehicle off and back on; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer.
