Exterior Lighting Problems of Mercedes Benz C230

My first incidence was driving and the steering would all of a sudden get stiff like it needed power steering fluid or something. Check it wasn't the fluid (this happened a few month ago I thought hmmm probably just something freaky) then 1/8/16 riding down the busy interstate highway the car acceleration just left. I pressed the accelerator to the floor but no speed. It was extremely scary. I had the car checked out. . . It's the classic problem I never heard of until today. ( intake manifold tumble flap) some plastic junk on an expensive car. If I wanted a junk car I would've went to the "junk yard" paid like 250. And be done with it. I'm very disappointed and angry. I'm glad my kids wasn't in the car and it wasn't a horrific outcome. Now I can't do anything with the car right now because it's expensive to repair for such a cheap piece that shouldn't have never been on it and because #1 I'm on a fixed income #2 I still have to pay for it. But what does mb care about that. . . . Its just a product to them, a money maker.

I was driving about 60 mph suddenly my car was jerking and shaking the speed started to decrease and the car suddenly turned off I was able to pull over to the side of the road and I had to turn the key to start it the engine light turned on and I was able to drive off like regular. The next day I was on the freeway exiting I was going like 40 mph when I decreased my speed to stop and make a turn my rpm was at high 4-5 and my speed was 20mph I had to step on the pedal all the way just to get to 20 mph.

The vehicle's exhaust system rattled, there were numerous electrical problems, the check engine light had come on intermittently and was reset because there was no problem found, there had been a possibility of problems with the seal on the fuel injection and air injection valves, the climate control unit was faulty, the heated driver side seat did not work properly, and the middle console did not close. 1999 Mercedes Benz C230 instrument panel lights have gone out. I have not had this problem repaired due to the cost estimate quoted to me by the mb dealership. Instrument panel lights went out 2 weeks after vehicle warranty expired. Another problem probably associated with the electrical system is that I have had to replace headlamps, interior lamps, backup lamps (ie light bulbs) on a continual basis. At least every other month I have a warning light come on that I have lamp out. Presently I have to replace the backup lamps but have not done so. Just replaced a left headlamp two weeks ago. This has been ongoing since my mother purchased the car new in August of 1999. She gifted the mb to me and I have been the only driver since 2001 and it is a one owner mb (two family members).
