I was driving my car to work and the next thing you know it slowed down only going 40mph. Then the engine light came on and now it want go in reverse. The electrical has went out for moving the headrest up and down, moving the seat forward n backwards. The battery keep draining, this is the 3rd new battery I had to buy. It's still beging drain. The sunroof will not open all electrical has went out in that area. It has never been able to open. The windshield wiper motor has went out. I took the car to the dealership they sais it wasn't nothing they can do since there wasn't no recall for this model.

While driving on 11/21/2020 at about 930am on northbound I-75 doing about 70mph as the rest of traffic in georgia when my sunroof (not opened) suddenly detached and blew off the vehicle. I initially heard a loud noise and wasn't at first what happened. I looked up and sunroof panel with the glass was gone. Fortunately there were no vehicles around me so as far as I know no one was hit or injured. I eventually pulled over and looked at the top of the vehicle and the sunroof panel was gone. I finished by business that morning and retuned home safely to our home in ocala, FL.

Combination problem the wipers are not commonly available outside of the dealer. They have a fitter that is not compatible with the usual supply of replacements. There are no dealers in the columbia gorge. A daughter had one of her wipers ice up and fall off while traversing the columbia gorge one snowy eve. She replaced it at a roadside service station. This would not be possible if it had happened with this mercedes. Having a bad wiper blade is a real safety issue with me.
