Takata recall: was notified of the recall in August 2016. As of this date, no action has been taken on the part of the manufacturer or dealer to allow this issue to be fixed. As of this date, no replacement parts are available.
Takata recall contacted Mercedes Benz in encino , CA over year ago regarding air bag recall. Never heard back about obtaining free replacements. I was told they would get back to me. We have been driving an at risk vehicle for what will soon be over two years since the recall was announced.
