2 Structure problem

Failure Date: 02/25/2025

The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the contact briefly lost control of the vehicle, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway. The contact owns a 2014 mercedes-benz Cla250. The contact stated that he noticed that the front panel around the panoramic roof was separating. The contact called a dealer and was told that there was a recall for the panel separation, however his vehicle was not part of the VIN selection. The contact was advised that the recall was NHTSA campaign number: 21v197000 (structure). The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. Failure Date: 07/18/2021

The contact owns a 2014 mercedes-benz Cla250. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21v197000 (structure) however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was not contacted. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed the adhesion had deteriorated and separated from the front panel. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, the contact was informed that remedy was not yet available. The failure mileage was approximate 94,800. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
