Nov 01,2023 manufacturer recall number: 2024010010 NHTSA recall number: 23v732 recall status: recall incomplete the manufacturer has failed and is unable to remedy this safety recall for my vehicle in a timely manner.

I just got the vehicle it’s losing power already, I was driving up a hill as a school bus was behind me, and my car started losing power and rolling back. I have a transmission issue they sold it this way also electrical.

Was driving on a road with 3 lanes . I was in the right lane was switching to middle when my stering and brakes just locked up I was not able to control the car I ended up all the way in the left lane crashed into a car and ended up on the divider.

My concern is brake and rotors. I replaced brakes a few months after purchasing my vehicle in 2020. My dealership was not helpful about experience. I asked why brakes were not inspected b4 purchase and after several calls repairs were done. It's been 1 year and vehicle has not been driven much due to covid. Now having same problems with shaking again. . I feel brakes are a on going problem with this model and I need answers. I have read many complaints on line about this problem with brakes rotors on Cla250 Mercedes Benz . Please help.

The purpose of this correspondence is to understand what caused my vehicle to lose its breaking power and have me almost have a near fatal accident. If I was not an experienced driver, I might not be sending this letter at this time. The incident happened on Thursday morning, February 27, 2020. I commute from newnan, GA to midtown atlanta daily. My commute can range from 40-45 miles and 50 minutes to more than an hour on any given day. The first 30 miles of my commute is usually spent on cruise control. I can cruise into downtown atlanta without having to release the cruise control. On Thursday morning, I followed my waze app and took the langford 166 east exit and to my surprise, when I exited the highway and tried to slow down on the exit ramp, my brake peddle would not depress. This became a life and death moment. I am writing because I have not received any firm answer from mercedes-benz of buckhead as to why my vehicle did not stop when I attempted to depress my breaks and left me helplessly navigating around cars and buses, during the morning rush hour, in order to avoid an accident as I was unable to stop. Other than slamming into a tree, note, I immediately called for a tow truck via mercedes-benz roadside assistance once I was able to pull over. My vehicle was towed to the buckhead shop. I mentioned to hee soo when I picked up my vehicle that I was uncomfortable with the fact that mercedes is making me pay $800 for a defective part what concerns me are a few things. 1. There was no warning light that advised the vacuum pump was not working or malfunctioning; 2. If the vacuum pump is an essential part of the vehicle's safety why is there no indication advising the vehicle owner?.

The breaking system has gone out on this car while driving three different times. It's extremely scary and has almost caused an accident each time as there is no warning when the system fails. One minute the car is fine and the next you cannot stop. No way to know it's about to happen until you press the break pedal. The first time we had it fixed from the mechanic he seemed to believe it was a fluke the break booster part went bad so we fixed it. Second time we returned to the same mechanic and he said the entire system failed and replaced all the parts including the booster. Except this time he was able to exchange the booster under a part warranty. Now in the last few days the entire system failed again with no explanation. All three instances have happened in less than a year. There is obviously a design flaw in this car and it's extremely dangerous and we do not know what to do. We got lucky not having an accident as well as some of the second and third repairs being under a parts warranty. There currently is not a recall we can find for our model but if you look up other mercedes models they have a break system failure recall. This needs attention!.

Automatic engaging of emergency break while driving or stationary together with signals of collision prevention assistant plus inoperative and two other errors (in pictures). Car was bought recently bought and delivered to me on January 1st , 2020. It has been taken back to dealer twice for same errors. It was replaced the battery twice as dealer indicated it had to do with auxiliary battery malfunctioning which was also another error showing in the panel.

I have 2015 Cla250 collision prevention assist dose not work and it’s always on as alarm on my dashboard after I search too many people have same issues I want to the dealer the ask 190$ for diagnostic and then will charge my for re program and suspension to harsh notice my car mileage 33000 only thanks.

Cars brake system violently shakes the front of the car when brakes are applied. Car has 17k miles on it and is still under warranty. Dealer refuses to repair, says the rotors are warped because I drove the car in the rain, and the rain warped the rotos.

The contact rented a 2016 mercedes-benz Cla250. While driving 45 mph, the contact's vehicle crashed into the rear of another vehicle. As I was driving on the highway around 65 miles per hour, the vehicle's check engine came up and said " inoperative, pre safe inactive" I freaked out. I was at highways speeds and it was inoperative. I noticed that the power steering was affected and the vehicle was unresponsive when I accelerated. The abs system was disabled, I was scared even to brake because I know that when the abs system is disabled the brakes can lock up and cause an accident, injuries and even death. I have noticed that many Cla250 owners have the same problem.

I purchased a new new new mercedes cla-250c automobile late September 2013. In mid-October I experienced un-commanded acceleration to above 5500 rpm. This ceased just as I was about to apply braking. The car then behaved normally. On christmas night I experienced un-commanded braking whenever I backed off the accelerator pedal, the force of braking being proportional to the degree of lift-off from the accelerator. I was able to bring the car to a complete stop without touching the brake pedal. At that point I grounded the car. On January 7, 2014 I informed mercedes-benz about the above.
