1 Wiper problem of the 2017 Mercedes Benz E300

Failure Date: 09/13/2023

The entire driver instrument panel screen went blank, after going blank and coming back on a few times while driving. This is extremely dangerous. Now, the driver cannot see the speed, odo, fuel gauge, indicators or anything at all. I hope you please investigate and initiate a campaign and get this resolved from mercedes.

2 Wiper problem of the 2018 Mercedes Benz E300

Failure Date: 01/25/2018

We leased a 2018 mercedes E300 exactly one month ago. For our test drive we took a short trip taking all right turns. Since we have had the car my wife has had serious visibility problems looking to the left, especially at 4 way stops. She has had 2 very close incidents at these stops, the latest near collision just yesterday. She is short (5 ft. ) and the seat does not raise high enough. As a result, when she gazes to the left there is a large blind spot created by the side view mirror. The side view mirrors in this new model are quite large due to the increased technology and they are set very high. I discussed this with our salesman today. His recommendation was that my wife press the button on the door to fold in the mirror each time she comes to a stop sign. Not very practical I think. They did offer to switch us to a small SUV for an absurdly high penalty to break our current lease. I also contacted Mercedes Benz customer service and they could offer no resolution, stating that the E300 has a "universal design" to fit all driver sizes.

3 Wiper problem of the 2017 Mercedes Benz E300

Failure Date: 07/31/2017

The drivers exterior left side rearview mirror is overly too large and is mounted approximately 2" to 2. 5" too high . Combined with the CO-located body roof support beam being very large the driver is therefore greatly impacted by the combined reduction in visability in that arc of vision while turning left. I've leased in succession 11 m/b sedans and have never been faced with this problem. I'm 5'8", athletic, well aware of ergonomics, I'm a pe - safety engineer and really annoyed and concerned with this big blind spot area. I've found that for the first time in my driving life I've had to be very careful when turning left particularly in very congested traffic situations due to the large reduction in visibility in that area. Problem starts immediately from a parked or stopped situation, like at a traffic light to then initially start moving particularly when implementing a left hand turn. Vehicle leased on 07/31/2017. Problem has been constant since then.
