One problem related to engine shut off without warning has been reported for the 2005 Mercedes Benz E320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The engine shut down by itself. I tried to restart, but it did not. However, it would start again, after 5 minutes. These events have happened several times; it became dangerous. Engine problems due to crankshaft position sensor failure.
