Body problems of the 2006 Mercedes Benz E350

There is a recall on my vehicle regarding the sunroof. Recall#2020040011. I took my vehicle to a mercedes dealer to have the situation remedied. I set an appointment for 10:00am. I arrived at 9:30am and checked my vehicle in. I sat in the dealership for 3 hours until I finally got tired of waiting for information. I then found the service advisor who was representing the work on my vehicle. I asked him what was going on with my car. He said he'd find out. He then came back to me and stated "they've been trying to get the roof open but can't", "it appears to be sealed shut". I told him yes, that's part of the recall reasoning. The bonding doesn't secure roof correctly, it could detach and cause a major issue. He then told me there's nothing they can do unless it's okay through mercedes. I showed him my letter again stating mercedes will remedy this problem. They told me they have to wait to hear from the mercedes manufacturer. I then asked him, " it took your dealership 3 hours to communicate to me that you couldn't get the roof open"?. 3 hours wait for this information? I was then told "they'll get back to me, they have my number". 24-72 hours to get me a answer! unacceptable service. Now I'm thinking, nothing will be done about this recall problem.

Received recall notice stating seal of sun roof might fail and cause it to come loose while driving. Dealership states part needed is not available and no information available about when it might be.

I am reporting a very serious, disturbing, shocking and tragic accident on 9/12/2015 on randall road in elgin, IL USA at 2:35 pm just after big timber road signal. My southbound 2006 Mercedes Benz E350 car was hit by the high speed out of control northbound 2014 Toyota corolla, which had crossed/swerved the center line and resulted in a head on collision/crash.

The same day plate light, trunk remote opener stop working due to melted brown wire in the trunk dealer do not want to fix actually asked for 300 to check the problem . A lots of discussion is going on the web to solve but I could not . Fuel smell in the garage often.
