The contact called the manufacturer and they advised her also to reverse the vehicle into certain types of parking barriers. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 1,000 and the current mileage was 25,000.

The shield caused the bumper to fracture from the vehicle whenever it became lodged on an object. The dealer advised the contact to drive cautiously. The vehicle was repaired.
