Seat Belt problem #2

I’m getting a pre-safe inoperative message on my dashboard all the time, the mercedes dealership is telling me the driver side seat belt needs to be replaced. This is a safety issue. This vehicle has 40,000 miles on it and it’s a family car that was extremely expensive this is unacceptable, mercedes should pay for the seat belt replacement.

Seat Belt problem #3

I just purchased a vehicle from a private party and we kept communicating for about 4-5 days. During that time the seller claimed he was the 2nd owner and that was great. Then he posted pictures and videos of the car in a video and it looked in perfect condition. Then after driving 3 1/2 hours to meet the seller and he lied about the year of vehicle. The damages were far beyond shown on the video and pictures. Then the major issue was that there was an warning light stating the driver srs needs to be serviced, I asked the seller mohummed. What this is and he said its the seat belt buckle and it something I can find in the trash can. Also there was severe oxidation on the roof and he was not willing to change the price at all. Then when I asked him how many owners had this vehicle and he says he's the second owner and I was very suspicious because this car will of had 7 owner after me, I did call him and he claimed he told me that the airbags don't work!!! I was very upset due to the fact we have a child and the care has 2 stage airbags and he didn't service anything himself everything else's was from the previous owners. He simply beat it up and then sold it. The biggest issues besides scratches and dents, it's clean in the interior however he didn't mention a airbag not working and I specifically asked him what going on with this airbag warning and he simply said it goes away and you don't have worry about it its nothing serious. . . . When I figured it all out and spoke via by phone 2 days after the purchase he didn't even have a contract or bill of sale. I want the airbage replaced or he can give me my money back and we can end it at that point. My phone: [xxx] seller:([xxx]) :[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Seat Belt problem #7

As I started up last week I am receiving a pre-safe srs inoperative message - I called the dealer and I feel with this being a safety feature I should not have be charged for the diagnostic, but I did on June 19. Turns out its the seat belt mechanism that needs to be replaced and its going cost me close to 500. If I don't get the work done in 30 days, my 190. 00 goes to waste- years ago, in my Acura my seat belt broke, it was replaced at no charge due to it being safety equipment- I don't want to pay until it is confirmed it should be no charge.

Seat Belt problem #17

The purpose of this is to alert you of a safety hazard / product defect of the seatbelt buckle in the 2007 Mercedes Benz E350 4matic wagon (?mb E350 wagon?). I have sent a similar letter to Mercedes Benz reporting the situation. On August 7, 2015 while riding in the front passenger seat of an mb E350 wagon, I placed my left hand on the left side of my seat near the seatbelt buckle, as leverage in order to adjust my sitting position. As I shifted my position, the seatbelt moved through the inserting (top) part of the buckle, and in the process severely and painfully pinched the skin on the inside of my left forearm. Although the seatbelt buckle ?let go? of my skin it caused a serious contusion: within seconds of the incident, a painful, 2-3inch long, raised/swollen contusion developed on my forearm. The contusion quickly turned very dark red as the blood continued to pool under my skin. Thinking this was a one off occurrence, few minutes later, I once more attempted to shift my sitting position in the same manner as above, only to suffer the exact same injury again. The seatbelt buckle caused injury to a smaller area but this time it slightly broke the skin. Again,a painful dark red swollen contusion developed immediately. (on 9. 22. 2015 I mailed a letter to the NHTSA with 4 pictures of my forearm for your reference. Pic #1-3 were taken immediately following the injuries and pict #4 was taken several days later. Both injuries were very painful when they occurred and my arm as quite sore for several days later. ) following my injuries, I asked my friends and family if they had experienced the same injury caused by the seatbelt buckle, and several of them had. I do not wish to speculate how severe the injuries would be if this occurs to an elderly individual whose skin is often more delicate.
