The contact owns a 2006 Mercedes Benz E500. While driving 25 mph, the subframe failed on the vehicle. The rear driver's side wheel was unstable and would sway when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that there was a defect in the weld of the subframe. The manufacturer stated that because of the water damage, the warranty was void and would not assist in the repairs. The current and failure mileages were approximately 21,000.
