Rear fog lamps on some european manufactured vehicles that are above the rear bumper has caused confusion and distraction to following drivers.
Both right and left headlights were aimed high. The problem was with the headlights which were aimed properly for the low beam, there was no further adjustment available for the high beam. As a result the high beam on the vehicle pointed up at an angle of 1 1/4 inches at 7 1/2 feet. (ultimately, the lights shined directly into the oncoming drivers eyes at this angle) model e-320.
