One problem related to brake disc pads has been reported for the 2006 Mercedes Benz E Class. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at about 25 mph making a left turn, the brake pedal went to the floor and I completely lost the brake function, the car would not slow down. I steered the car to the right shoulder and it took it another 200 to 300 feet to stop.
