Failure Date: 05/01/2006

2001 benz e320 wheel bearings failed. ***** the consumer noticed a scraping noise coming from the front passengers side of the vehicle. The noise became progressively worse until the vehicle became undrivable. The consumer also noticed that the vehicle was pulling to the right. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who indicated that the vehicle needed new bearings on both front wheels and a new left spindle, rotor and brake pads. The dealer has replaced the instrument cluster (3 times), fuel level sensor, oil level sensor, a/c control and regulators ( 3 times), steering lock and key, right headlight assembly, both catalytic converters and the right rear window regulator. 2 Headlights problem of the 2000 Mercedes Benz E Class

Failure Date: 08/08/2004

I bought a used Mercedes Benz e320 in July 2004. I have had to replace the headlights and brake lights several times. I have also had the fuses replaced. For some reason, the lights keep going out. I don't know if this a fuse problem or if there is something wrong with electrical system. I believe this should be checked out. I have spoken to several other people with the same model. . . They stated that they had the same problem, but they have never done anything about it. Please check into this. It has never caused any accidents. However, it is annoying and drains your pockets.

4 Headlights problem of the 2003 Mercedes Benz E Class

Both right and left headlights were aimed high. The problem was with the headlights which were aimed properly for the low beam, there was no further adjustment available for the high beam. As a result the high beam on the vehicle pointed up at an angle of 1 1/4 inches at 7 1/2 feet. (ultimately, the lights shined directly into the oncoming drivers eyes at this angle) model e-320.
