I acquired a 2003 mercedes e500 about a year ago and I still cannot attach my seatbelt without tiltng the seat back after I am in the car. I like to drive in the upright position and the belt will no go in the receiver! when I took it into the dealer I was told there was nothing wrong with the system to which I say a vehicle's belt should be easily inserted without going into the car and reclining the seat to insert the belt and then readjusting the seat for comfort. I also called customer assistance and was advised there is nothing wrong. An extension to the receiver might work but whatever the answer "I need help" I called your hotline and I told someone the same story but no one ever got back to me.
