The contact owns a 2012 mercedes-benz Glk350. The contact stated that the vehicle was leaking fuel underneath the rear-end of the vehicle. The failure occurred intermittently; however, the leak was now more frequent. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed and related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 12v557000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
