The contact owns a 2013 Mercedes Benz Glk350. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the brake fluid and brake warning lights had illuminated and shortly after adding brake fluid the warning continued to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the rear brake lines had corroded causing brake fluid to leak and the brake lines needed to be replaced. In addition the vehicle had rusting of the rear subframe. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 94,000.
