Recall 19v-868 | VIN: [xxx] | case #: [xxx] vehicle: 2013 mercedes-benz Glk350 (x204) description of safety problem: this complaint concerns a failure to adequately remedy NHTSA recall 19v-868. Since [xxx], my vehicle has been grounded at mercedes-benz of westmont. The dealer performed the recall out of sequence, ignored documented circuit faults, and refused mandatory xentry commissioning and scn normalization, leaving the srs system inoperative and uncertified. Nhtsa records (ex b-27) confirm the recall remains "incomplete. " manufacturer abandonment of safety oversight: on Feb 26, 2026, an mbusa executive referral manager (case #[xxx]) stated by phone he would not read my 61-page safety complaint and classified the failure to verify the recall as a "dealer issue" due to franchise laws. Only 28 minutes after admitting he would not read the file, he sent an email falsely claiming he had "reviewed the documentation" and closed the case. By refusing to audit a documented failure to certify a safety repair, mbusa is in active violation of its duty to ensure recall completion under 49 u. S. C. § 30120. Coercive safety threat (49 u. S. C. § 30122): service manager blake farmer and advisor harry arroyo explicitly threatened to remove the new airbag and reinstall the original defective recalled inflator (ex b-6) during a billing dispute. This is a direct violation of 49 u. S. C. § 30122, which prohibits a dealer from knowingly making a safety system inoperative. Dealer negligence & additional risks: dealer negligence regarding part #204-440-68-41 (ex b-17, b-26) caused a 5-day delay, resulting in a nationwide backorder. Furthermore, technician video (ex b-10) shows an active oil leak (code p2610-29), a fire/stalling hazard per mbusa TSB li05. 20-p-067123 that the dealer refused to diagnose. Attached: 61-page filing with 28 exhibits and 3 notarized affidavits. The 60-day federal deadline is April 4, 2026. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

I'm having the same issues as described in recall no. 12v557000. However when I called mercedes they mentioned that my VIN wasn't part of that recall. I don't understand how can that be when my car is 2011-2012 Glk350 model as described in recall and I smell gas, can see gas leaking and the flange where my fuel filter is cracked as well as the flange to the fuel pump side. This car as well as many other mercedes have two separate flanges that are prone to crack and not just the fuel filter side but the fuel pump side as well. There's many forums where they all have complained about this issue. If you can smell gas, there's obviously fuel vapors leaking and not to the mentioned the physical leak that is landing everywhere you drive. This is a serious fire hazard and is extremely harmful to my kids and passengers.

I took my mb in for service to have alternator replaced. After it was finished service did a multipoint inspection on vehicle and keep in mind I have had my car in for service before and if there had been a multi inspection wouldn't this have been seen before now? this report includes rear sub frame rusted & broke, rear brake lines rusted, fault code for intake manifold flap malfuntion, actuator arms broke, engine misfire on cylinders 3-5. Recommended services is to replace transmission mounts, left engine mount, right engine mount, rear sub frame, rear brake llines, intake manifold. Diagnose misfires. All of this and I was never notified of any issues before now and its only been a year since my car was in before. I was also told I didn't need an oil change and my brakes were only making noise because of wear!? and due to the issue I was also told to be very careful when I do drive! total cost for this is $11,996. 85 so I feel that mb is liable for this as there has not been any recommendation s before now. I had $2,081. Worth of work done February 5th 2019 and the underbody of vehicle was inspected so why was this not caught then?.

Driving 25 mph around a curve when my car lost control, despite my best attempts my car would not allow me to take control or to break. My car went from 25 mph to 60 mph through a two lane traffic street, forcing me to swerve in and out of traffic merely missing six cars and a semi trailer truck, spinning my car around twice and facing the opposite direction of traffic.

After only 7 years of owning the 2010 mb glk 350, both the engine mounts and transmission mounts needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of $3000. 00 at the dealership. The car has less than 50,000 miles on it, mostly city driving. This can present a safety hazard if you are driving your vehicle in high speeds; the engine may shift and bounce about so violently that various parts will fly off. Condition mostly seen in high mileage cars.
