One problem related to front seat heater/cooler has been reported for the 2006 Mercedes Benz M Class. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When the seat heater was activated a burning smell filled the cabin. Some smoke came out of the lower, left side of the back of the driver's seat. The switch turned off on its own. There is a hole, approximately 3/4 in. In diameter on the seat.
