Two problems related to mid/rear seats assembly have been reported for the 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driverside backseat frame welded support bolt fell apart. (welded to back frame) this makes back of seat unstable and unsafe to sit in. Car is driven mostly to work and is well maintained. Dealer said no one to sit there, it is unsafe.
Wheel lug nuts rust; rear seat control lever breaks; gas gauge doesn't work correctly.
