Three problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Suddenly I could not gain or get any more speed. I was just coasting along, I then arrived at my destination and got out and smelled burning smell from front wheels. I could not get out of the gear I was in.
Vehicle has been in the shop 4 times for same problem. Throttle doesn't actuate properly or smoothly. Trying to go at certain speeds and throttle gives a resistantce to certain speed. Parts have been ordered to remedey the problem, but thus far it hasn't been done so.
While traveling on wet road and without any indication vehicle fishtailed out of control, causing vehicle to flip over. Consumer stated that speed control came on. Please provide further information.
