Two problems related to other fuel system fuel gauge have been reported for the 1999 Mercedes Benz ML320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel gauge does not read correctly/run out of fuel/engine quits loss of control, power brakes and steering may lead to crash/defect.
Wires on the fuel sending units corrode in gasoline and send false electrical signals to the fuel gauge.
