Engine Burning Oil problems of the 2000 Mercedes Benz ML320

Two problems related to engine burning oil have been reported for the 2000 Mercedes Benz ML320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Burning Oil problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2006

Oil consumption problem. Oil light keeps coming on between 200-600 miles of driving. Transmission is failing and engine needs to be replaced. Very poor.

2 Engine Burning Oil problem

Failure Date: 06/24/2003

The vehicle burned 2 quarts of oil or more, and there were no signs of leaking of gasoline underneath the vehicle.
