Two problems related to latches/locks/linkage have been reported for the 2000 Mercedes Benz ML320. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After warranty expired4 years ago within 2-6 months, and up to 40,539 miles the following repairs were necessary in a mercedes ml 320: brake stop lamp switch assembly, latching mechanism rt. Front door, oxygen sensor, -power steering rack and two tie rodsfrom 2/17/04 to 6/18/04.
The seat belt system did not work properly. Dealer has inspected, and could not duplicate or correct the problem. . The sun roof blew off the vehicle, the abs failed, the door locks, handles and side mirrors were also inoperative.
