Mercedes R500 stalls without warning while driving on freeway. Each time causing a total shut down of the car. This has happened 4 times in the last 7 months we have had the car. Each time we are able to coast to the side of the freeway but is just luck that we have not been in a accident yet. Each incident has been while on a family trip traveling on the interstate . All but one time, once it had been loaded onto the tow truck and delivered to the mercedes dearlership the car started and ran perfectly! we have taken it to the mercedes dearlership each time for service but they have been unable to diagnose the problem. We have had the fuel filter replaced, drive sensors replaced and the fuel line cleaned out but this just happened again yesterday again with my children in the car traveling at highway speeds!!.
