One problem related to exterior rearview mirror has been reported for the 2001 Mercedes Benz S430. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states the passenger side rear view mirror blows leaving the mirror in the downward postion. Unable to see out of mirror. While driving, the seats moved back to the furthest position, the heat control for seats went on, and all the mirrors moved to an upright position to bring the vehicle to halt.
