At approx. 52,000 miles on my car, I took it to get serviced by a non mercedes dealer ship, since the warranty was out. They found the power steering leaking and the reservoir was empty. I had just taken the car in for a service three weeks earlier for warranty work, and this problem was not found. Fluid was leaking around the power steering pump.
