One problem related to front suspension control arm has been reported for the 1996 Mercury Cougar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was going 20mph right ball joint locked up. Vehicle steered staright, but was pulling right. Evertually, vehicle stopped itself. Mercury dealer was notified.
