Three problems related to brake disc caliper have been reported for the 1999 Mercury Cougar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Calipers constantly falls off causing wheel to lock up.
Brake calipers stick frequently, leaving vehicle with no brakes. Had parts replaced. However,problem reoccurred. Contacted dealer.
While traveling, slowed down, and when depressing brake pedal vehicle would not gain speed. Technician stated that right caliper malfunctioned. Please provide furhter information.
