One problem related to bumper has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Cougar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
There was trim hanging from the steering wheel which fell off. Also there was a hard plastic piece of trim hanging from the front end. There is a bubble present in the rear bumper, also the uni-body had been cut and extended to complete a prior repair of damage which occured before the was purchased, it was explained to the consumer that after a surgery to a vehicle in this manner, the vehicle would never truly be the same again.
