One problem related to wiring has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was parking, turned vehicle off, and then decided to park elsewhere. Consumer tried to start vehicle, it would not start. Then consumer saw smoke coming from hood, then flames. Called 911 for help. There were no injuries.
