When applying brakes to come to a stop, pedal goes to the floor. This also happens during emergency braking. Dealer stated this was the way the vehicle was designed.
Consumer was involved in a collision while driving 35mph, the passenger air bag deployed, however the driver air bag did not, consumer was injured and had to miss 47 days of work, Ford sen consumer a refusal of liability stating that there was not enough impact force to trigger air bag deployment, this vehicle only had 190 miles at time of incident, however consumer no longer feels safe with it, dealer replaced the control module, no representatives ever came from Ford to inspect vehicle, two recalls, 00v27 and 00v412, deal with air bag problems.
Vehicle has accelerated 3 times when consumer wanted to slow down. Applied brakes, but was not able to slow down. Finally, had to take vehicle out of gear to slow down. Dealer cannot find cause.
When applying brakes they feel soft. Brake pedal keeps going all the way to floor. Has had them worked on three times,and they still not functioning correctly.
