The contact stated that the failure occurred while approaching a stop light. The contact's vehicle rear-ended the vehicle in the front of his vehicle. The contact's vehicle was damaged to the front bumper. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. Brakes: the dashboard brake warning lights are illuminated most of the time. 1. The abs warning light is illuminated. 2. The brake warning light is illuminated also. The Ford dealership service dept cannot fix it saying this is intermittent and attributed it to a loose wire connection located behind the left driver kick panel. So far brakes work irregardless of brake warning lights illumination. You tube videos offer no solution and clearly state vehicles with brake warning lights should not be driven. If my state required a motor vehicle inspection, this car would not pass inspection. Please help resolve this situation.
