The contact's husband owns a 2004 Mercury Marauder. The contact's husband had received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v861000 (exterior lighting). The vehicle was taken to a local dealer for the recall repair. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact was made aware that only the lcm module harness was replaced and not the lcm module. The contact also stated that after the vehicle was returned, the driver's door latch was broken and the front passenger headlight failed to illuminate intermittently. The contact made the dealer aware of the failure and was informed the repair cost was her responsibility. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 117,000.
