Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1997 Mercury Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front rotors were deteriorating due to corrosion. Dealer notified and repairs were being done at consumer's cost. Also, rotors are availabe for inspection if needed.
About every 3 months the rotors malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance. Rotors have been replaced several times. Dealer cannot determine the problem.
