Carburetor problems of the 1997 Mercury Marquis

While driving plastic intake manifold broke. Steam ,and anti-freeze fell all over windshield, blocking driver's vision.

Intake manifold (org. ) was made of plastic. Shop had car for tune-up when manifold cracked. The new manifold is made with metal where the old one cracked. Ford had recall on same size engine but Mercury will not recall for this problem.
