One problem related to gas recirculation valve (egr valve) has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving in traffic, consumer states that vehicles engine seized. Consumer was almost rear ended. Took to dealer and the dealer said the idler cooling valves failed. Please provide any further information. Ts.
