One problem related to steering idler arm has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Idler arm bolt came out causing vehicle to pull to the left which could have resulted in loss of control. Consumer recommended using castle nut bolt with carter pin to keep from falling off.
