Mercury Marquis owners have reported 2 problems related to steering tie rod assembly (under the steering category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Thed outer tie rod on the right front turning wheel fell off while backing out of my driveway. The tierod ends need to be replaced. Please note that a warning letter was sent out for this problem on my 1998 f150 but none on this vrhicle. It was related to corrosion. I will save the old part. If this had happened while negotiating a curve at highway speeds it could have been catistraffic or even worse.
