Other Fuel System Hoses Lines/piping, And Fittings problems of the 2010 Mercury Milan

Fuel tank & canister purge valve recall - 15s34 recall - vehicle was inspected for recall in August 2016 and passed the recall and the recall was closed by Ford. In July 2017, the vehicle had a check engine light and message to check fuel tank inlet that would come on and go off in. The check engine light code was related to the evap system. Vehicle was taken to the same Ford dealership that performed the recall in 2016. The canister purge valve failed and the fuel filler pipe had leaks and needed replacement. The Ford dealership submitted a 360 claim for the parts and labor. The 360 claim was denied because the car was outside the 7 years of service and the dealership would not warranty the claim because the recall had already been closed.
